The long shank offers plenty of whoa while maintaining the flexion and bend required.This is great for a young horse and a good transition bit from an O-Ring Snaffle. The Extended Gag Feature offers bend and flexion of the poll. If you ride with a combination bit, this is a good alternative to practice in. By doing this, it helps maintain the effectiveness of your combination bit. This bit comes with a chain curb but can be used with a nylon string curb as an option. With a string curb you will have more bend but less whoa.
